The Crispus Attucks Development Corporation is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that owns and oversees Crispus Attucks Park in Washington DC’s Bloomingdale neighborhood.  The surrounding neighborhood is an integral group of volunteers that work to keep the community commons clean and beautiful. The space is part of an effort to build bridges in a diverse urban neighborhood, and to create a community oasis promoting peace, quiet contemplation, gardening, educational opportunities, and intergenerational interaction.
