The Annapolis Waterworks Park is a passive recreational facility operated by the Annapolis Department of Recreation and Parks. This 500 acre park is situated one mile west of the Annapolis Mall, and is one of the few open-space resources in the area which provides the public with hiking trails, as well as places to picnic and fish. The sacred space is located on a secluded lake overlook, thus creating a quiet, contemplative environment. The only views and sounds are that of the nature surrounding the space.
